Saturday 25 September, at Drumoak Bowling Club Hall, Drumoak, near Banchory

7.30pm - midnight: A traditional ceilidh, with local talent performing, including Hector Riddell, the Champion of Champions of Bothy Ballads, and Talia Mathers, a young girl from Aberdeen who represented Scotland in last year's "Off by Heart" poetry competition on the BBC. 9.00am - 5.00pm: Booth at the FALL FAIR. Salt Spring Island Scottish Country Dancers invite everyone to come to their booth to see what Scottish country dancing is all about. 6.00pm: Open House - everyone welcome, just show up and give it a try. You don't need a partner. It's fun, a good workout for body and mind, and yes, it's very social.
