Cheshire Branch host workshops

On Saturday 16th March, the Cheshire Branch hosted two Workshops at Tarporley Community Centre.

The morning workshop focussed on Figures and Formations for Newer Dancers and was hosted by one of our regular teachers, Trish Reid, ably assisted by one of our members, Clare Nash.

Altogether 32 attended, travelling from all over Cheshire, North Wales and Shropshire.  Many of them had never attended an event like this before and felt that they had benefitted enormously from the morning.

During the afternoon Diane Rooney and Liz Bruynooghe held a Workshop on How to MC for a Dance.  This included the art of re-capping, as well as how to devise a dance programme. During the afternoon each of the fourteen participants had the opportunity to re-cap a dance and all said how much they had gained from the session.
