Chard Scottish Country Dance Club

Group profile

Chard Scottish Country Dance Club meets at Chardstock Community Hall, which is on the Somerset and Devon Border. The hall is wide and airy with ample space for six sets. The Club meets on Monday evenings through the winter and holds dances every six weeks or so through the summer.
Evening programmes are usually drawn from the future dance programmes in the local area. The Club is well integrated with surrounding clubs and supports the global Scottish country dance movement, in particular by video recording dances and linking them to the SCD databases.
