Branch profile

You are very welcome to join our very friendly a welcoming group based in Dronfield, Northeast Derbyshire.

Our classes are held on Monday evenings term time, at the Peel Centre, Dronfield, S18 1PX between September and July.

Scottish Dancing is a great way to meet interesting new people locally, while being part of an international dance network. Once you have learnt the basics, you can join in dance groups in many towns around the world! Because it is a danced as a team (in a 'set') newer dancers can be supported by the more the experienced, and it means you don't need to come with a partner.

(Under 18's need to be accompanied by an adult)

The class is run by RSCDS qualified teachers and particularly well-designed to accommodate the needs of less experienced or new dancers. We run regular beginner specific courses, but we are able to accommodate beginners in the general class (it's helpful for the teacher if you can let us know your attendance in advance).

The classes are held at:

The Peel Centre,
Dronfield,
Derbyshire
S18 1PX

There is plenty of free parking in the adjacent care park (by the leisure centre)

Classes cost £5 (£4 for beginner's course and members).

We run our 'Annual Spring Workshop' in March with a visiting teacher which is a great way to get lots of pointers improve your dancing at whatever level you see at.

We'd love to have you with us one Monday eve, whatever your level of experience, do get in touch and come along!
