Lisbon (Lapa) Scottish Country Dance Group

Group profile

The Lapa group was founded in May 2012 by Joana Ferreira and Isabel Monteiro of the Lisbon-Telheiras group, with whom they still maintain friendly relations! Joana and Isabel completed their first part of their teaching certificate in 2014 and the final part in 2016. Both passed all five units of the certificate with excellent marks and are now fully-qualified teachers :)

Venue: St. Andrew’s Church , Rua da Arriaga 13, 1200-608, Lisboa.
Meetings: SUNDAYS from 5.30 p.m. until 8 p.m., September until June
Note for beginners: Please contact the teachers first to check the best time to come for an experimental lesson ! The part of the lesson devoted to beginners is the SECOND half.
