Orpington & District Caledonian Society
We hold weekly social dances on Thursday evenings from September to July, where dances are usually re-capped and walked-through. We have three Saturday-night dances during the year with live music, and special events to mark Burns’ Night, St Andrew’s Day and Hogmanay.
Courses for newcomers to Scottish country dancing start at various times through the year. The next one commences in autumn 2024. If you are interested in giving SCD a go, please get in touch.
Once a month we hold a technique class for improving footwork and formations. Our demonstration team gives performances in support of local charities.
A warm welcome awaits dancers of any experience at this friendly, long-established society.
