Introduction

On 15 March 2010, Susan Rhodes was appointed as Development Officer for the RSCDS on a Scottish Arts Council-funded project.  The project aims to support Scottish Branches interested in engaging children and young people with SCD. If the pilot is successful, the learning will be shared across the organisation. The project is part of a wider RSCDS strategy to recruit more young dancers through Scottish schools, with broader links to health, exercise and reducing obesity.
