We are a very friendly group of Scottish dancers who meet every Tuesday evening from September to June at Horton VH Nr Ilminster, Somerset TA19 9QR. Classes are run by an RSCDS fully qualified teacher Anita Wilson. We particularly welcome beginners and less experienced dancers , but we welcome everyone who loves to dance Scottish. We regularly have three sets of dancers.
We hold a Summer Sunday Tea dance in June and if you visit our group web site or our Somerset Scottish dancers fb page you can see pictures of our recent tea dance. We also have a monthly experienced / advanced class . In September we held a Book 53 workshop and a special RSCDS Centenary dance with Chris and Julie Dewhurst providing the music. We have an Easter dance booked for March 2024 and a Summer Sunday Tea Dance which will be held on the 2nd Sunday in June 2024 and a Garden dance during July or August.
