Summer School Youth Week

Junior Summer Camp

This year’s Junior Summer Camp invites young dancers aged 8 to 11 to step into a week filled with fun, fitness and friendship. No previous dance experience is needed—just curiosity, energy, and a willingness to try something new!

Each day brings a lively blend of dance classes, craft projects, and outdoor games, woven together with fun challenges that unfold throughout the week. Dancers may find themselves creating their own dance, assembling a colourful word board, diving into word searches, or tackling a surprise quiz designed to spark teamwork and laughter. Between activities, children can recharge with refreshments and snacks, ready for the next activity.

Parents / Guardians attending the Adult Summer School can conveniently drop their children off on their way to class, while those parents / guardians not participating in classes are welcome to take dancers to class each morning and collect them again at lunchtime. For children staying on site with a parent or guardian, supervision returns to the parents / guardians outside of class hours.

A full programme will be released soon.

The Junior Summer Camp runs alongside the wider Summer School, creating a wonderful opportunity for families to share the experience together. As one delighted parent shared:

“Our experience surpassed by far my hopes and expectations. A great balance of fun activities and dancing thoroughly enjoyed by both boys. An exhausting, but tremendously satisfying experience. Thank you for the care and joy. It has been a gift to be here!”

Young Dancers' Week

For Young People 12-17 years, Young Dancers’ Week offers a chance to grow, connect, and dance with confidence. Tailored for ages 12 to 17, participants join classes matched to their ability levels alongside other Summer School dancers. Afternoons offer opportunities for young dancers to meet, relax, and bond with peers who share their passion.

As with the Junior Summer Camp, young dancers may be dropped off by parents / guardians attending the Adult Summer School, while those parents / guardians not participating in classes are welcome to take dancers to class each morning and collect them again at lunchtime. For young people staying on site with parents / guardians, supervision returns to the parents / guardians outside of class hours.
