Group profile
The Atholl Scottish Country Dance Club meets weekly, every Tuesday, from mid-September to mid-May.
Dancing starts at 19:30, and continues till approx 21:45, with a break.
There is live music each week, usually provided by Iain MacPhail leading a three-piece band.
We usually have 16 dances on the programme each week, with the time balanced between reels, jigs and strathspeys.
Be aware that this group is not suitable for beginners for most dances are not walked-through or recapped, but programmes are published two weeks in advance.
Dancing Season:
Dates:- Tuesdays from 13/09/22 to 20/12/22 and 10/01/23 to 23/05/23.
Times:-7.30pm-9.45pm The Christmas dance (20/12/22) and the end of season dance (23/05/23) run until 10.30pm
Venue:-Craigmillar Park Church Hall, 2A Craigmillar Park, Edinburgh, EH16 5LZ
