Group profile
A friendly club of about 100 members that actively encourages beginners as well as stretches experienced dancers.
Our regular social dancing club night is Tuesday at Potten End Village Hall (HP4 2QG) from 8.15pm to 10.15pm. Alongside the social dancing, twice a year we run a 10 week ‘Introduction to Scottish Dancing’ course from 8.15pm to 9.15pm after which class members join the social dancing. Visitors are welcome.
On Monday evenings a programme of classes are held for Intermediate and Advanced dancers.
The club puts on a range of formal dances on Saturday nights including the annual Highland Ball to which non-members are welcome.
In June and July our social dancing moves to member’s gardens on Saturday evenings.
The club has a display team that performs regularly raising money for the club charity of the year.
