The Norwich branch of the RSCDS was formed in 1956 as a result of exiled Scots and local people in the Norwich area wishing to further their experience and learning of what had been, up to then, the occasional Scottish Country dance evening to celebrate St Andrews night and similar events.
The Branch holds weekly classes in Norwich and new members - singles or couples, experienced dancers or beginners - are always welcome to join our group at any time. Classes are on a Monday evening and are divided into two terms, of about 14 weeks each, from September through to mid-June. The location is the Oak Grove Chapel, 70 Catton Grove Road NR3 3NT.
