Book 54 Launch

This collection of 18 Scottish country dances features six dances from branches marking their centenaries and 12 additional dances selected from the pool considered for Book 53, together with tunes selected and, in some cases, specially composed for the book. The Neil Galloway Scottish Dance Band have recorded a bumper double album of music, which will also be available to download from iTunes and Amazon music from July. Those attending St Andrews Summer School will be able to collect their pre-orders on arrival, and copies are also being sent to July/August summer and winter schools around the world. 

Now, we want to share the content with all of you in our special Book 54 Launch Zoom Sessions.

• The new recordings 

• The videos from branches and dancers around the world 

The Membership Services Committee will introduce the book, share musical excerpt from the two brand new recordings, showcase the dance videos from around the world as well as being joined by those that have made been involved in creating Book 54 content.
