The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society is delighted to invite members from around the world to join our 2023 Centenary celebrations at a special Ball hosted in Edinburgh's stunning Assembly Rooms.

Members from around the world are invited to join our Centenary celebrations at a special Ball hosted in Edinburgh's stunning Assembly Rooms on Saturday 25th March 2023.

Places for this magical evening of dancing are limited so remember to book early so you don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime experience.  

Music will be provided by some of the best Scottish country dance musicians, and dancers will be able to move between the Ballroom and the Music Room throughout the evening to enjoy the toe tapping delights of both Marian Anderson’s Band and David Oswald’s Band.

Click the blue "Book now" button to book online. It is possible to purchase more than one ticket so if you are buying on behalf of another member then you just need to also enter their name, contact details and Branch details at time of booking.

Please note that no physical tickets will be issued. Your booking confirmation email will act as your ticket and can be printed or presented on your phone at the venue as proof of purchase.

If you wish to request a refund for Centenary Ball event tickets, then please note that the Society charges a one off administration charge of £10 per attendee to cover bank transaction costs.

If, due to circumstances outside our control, we are required to cancel the Centenary Ball event then we will inform all ticket buyers and a full refund will be provided. The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society shall assume no liability for any losses resulting from individual hotel bookings or pre-booked travel. Please check your personal travel insurance policy.

If you have received a positive COVID test result or have been instructed by the NHS to self-isolate then a full refund for any purchased event ticket(s) will be provided, on receipt of proof. Please email us at info@rscds.org.

Please let us know if you would instead prefer to donate your ticket money to the Society if any of the above circumstances apply.

Please do NOT attend if you have received a positive Covid test result or have been instructed by the NHS to self-isolate in the week prior to the Centenary Ball. If this occurs then a full refund for any purchased event ticket(s) will be provided, on receipt of proof, by emailing info@rscds.org.

All Covid rules and restrictions have been lifted in Scotland, but the virus has not gone away so please use 'Covid sense' to help protect yourself and others

Whilst vaccination is strongly encouraged, it is not mandatory for this event. Hand sanitisers will be made available at the dancing venue.
