Spring Fling Cambridge 2024

A weekend of classes, dance and a ball


On behalf of the Spring Fling 2024 Committee, we would like to invite you to Cambridge for next year's Spring Fling and Spring Fringe. We hope that you are looking forward to a weekend of music and dancing in the land of punting, academic gowns and Chelsea buns - and we can't wait to welcome you!

Please note that Spring Fling is an event exclusively for people under 35 years old. If you are over 35, you can book a ticket for the Saturday dance only.

 

Spring Fling Scholarships

Scholarship applications are now open, with a deadline of 30th November 2023.

Spring Fling will take place 12 – 14 April 2024, in the beautiful and historic city of Cambridge.

Those booking a residential ticket will stay in YHA Cambridge Hostel, 97 Tenison Rd, Cambridge CB1 2DN.

Classes will take place in Hills Road Sixth Form College, Hills Rd, Cambridge CB2 8PE.

The Friday and Saturday night dances will take place in St Barnabas Church Hall, Mill Rd, Cambridge CB1 2BD.

Playing for the Friday dance will be the Dave Hall SCD band, and for the Saturday dance, Keith Smith and Anne-Laure Latour.

Teachers will be Dave Hall, Sam Schad and Lindsey Ibbotson, musicians will be Adam Brady, Christina Hood, Anne-Laure Latour and Keith Smith.

Saturday dance (unwaged)   £15

 

Residential bookings will be closing on 8 February 2024.

Classes offered will be:

Saturday mornings: Intermediate, Advanced, Very Advanced, Musicians Class.

Saturday afternoons: Highland, Step, Choreography.
