George Meikle was heavily involved in the selection of music for this book, although it was the music sub-committee that insisted on including one of his own compositions as the original tune for The Saltire Strathspey. It seemed appropriate therefore to ask George and the Lothian Band to take on the recording and the result has been exceptionally well received.
