Dances to Song Tunes by Hugh Foss
£9.44
Out of stock
Long out of print, and republished in 2014 by the RSCDS, this publication includes 15 Fifteen Scottish country dances by Hugh Foss, with music arranged for the piano and piano-accordion by Peter White. This book represents the first in a series of occasional historical reprints of books by dance devisors who have made a significant contribution to Scottish country dancing over the years, and no attempt has been made to convert them into Standard Terminology; a very brief glossary clarifying some of the more obtuse descriptions is, however, included. A fantastic accompanying CD recorded by Iain Cathcart is also available.
