Nova Scotia annual Kathy Warren Spring Tea Dance

members of the Nova Scotia branch pose for a photo at the Kathy Warren Spring Tea dance in Seaforth Community Hall

On Saturday, May 2nd, the Nova Scotia branch hosted our second annual Kathy Warren Spring Tea Dance at the Seaforth Community Hall, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Almost 40 dancers from across Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island joined us for two fun-filled hours of social dancing, followed by high tea.

The event is named in honour of Kathy Warren, our beloved friend, who died in 2020. Kathy was a longtime member of our local RSCDS branch, who served as treasurer for many years, sharing her valuable time and consummate organizational skills to ensure the success of virtually every local event. She will forever be remembered for her warm generous spirit, her strong work ethic, her ubiquitous peanut butter balls, and her love of all things Scottish.
