50 years of SCD in Berlin

SCD Berlin

The Scottish Country Dancing Society of Berlin

We celebrated the 50th anniversary of our Scottish Country Dance group with a full weekend of dancing and fun. It began Friday evening with a Social Dance, Saturday morning class taught by Jennie Hawdon from Cheltenham, and then a ball Saturday night. Grant Crawford and his Kilbryde SCD Band, the Berlin Thistle Pipe & Drum Band provided the music for our 100 guests from all over Europe and Germany.

The pictures show the cake, Chris McLarren with Angelika McLarren and Hanna Hoyt who were there the very first night, the band, the teacher, the pipe band, and all the dancers.
