Corryvrechan Celtic Roots Concert 2025

Take a look at what some of our members have been up to outwith the RSCDS! - Corryvrechan Celtic Roots Concert 2025   

Over a weekend in November 2025, the Corryvrechan Scottish Dance Display Team presented their latest concert - “Celtic Roots”. The team, which is based in Bristol, includes members from a number of RSCDS Branches – Bristol, Exeter, Herts & Borders, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Brighton and London and also has members in the Northallerton Caledonian Society Affiliated Group. 

This was the first concert for a number of team members and all rose to the occasion magnificently. The programme ranged from modern dances to the traditional Moulin Dhu interpreted by Mary McNab and also some hard shoe and step dancing. The final dance – a Twelvesome written by the team’s original team leader, Andrew Paterson, was enthusiastically received by the audiences. The team’s own band of 6 musicians plus a piper provided excellent music and also contributed solos to the concert.
