Leicester Branch fundraising dance for Hope Against Cancer

Leicester Branch

RSCDS Leicester branch held a fund-raising dance in February for Hope Against Cancer, a local Leicester charity. We were pleased to welcome several dancers from other Midland branches. Money was also raised by members donating in lieu of sending Christmas cards. Most of the funds raised are used for research at Leicester hospitals. Barbara, from the charity (holding cheque), visited us last week at our class in Aylestone where we presented her with a cheque for £600. The others in the photo are committee and branch members.

From L to R, Ralph Spence, Matthew and Ramona Smollett, Ron Gregory (treasurer), Barbara, Stella Moore (secretary), Sandra Hall (chair), Sally Brotherton
