DST - Edinburgh's Spring Fling 2023

From one roaring 20s to the next... 

Come celebrate the RSCDS’ Centenary in Edinburgh and see how Scottish country dancing is still roaring in the 2020s!

Spring Fling is returning to Edinburgh from 14th – 16th April 2023. It is going to be a jam-packed weekend all situated in the newly refurbished Meadowbank Stadium.  We start off the weekend with a welcome dance on the Friday evening from our fantastic local band, Ewan Galloway. Our classes will be lead by our fabulous teachers and musicians - Alasdair Gray, Deb Lees, Abigail Brown, Ewan Galloway, Susan MacFadyen and Shona MacFadyen. To wrap it all up, we will be celebrating with a glass of fizz and some cake at the Spring Fling Ball on the Saturday evening with Jim Lindsay’s spectacular five-piece band! It is definitely an event not to miss! 

Remember that although Spring Fling classes are only open to those aged 12 – 35, the dances are open to dancers of all ages. There will also be Spring Fringe classes organised by Edinburgh Branch for those who fall outside this age category.
