DST - Tucson Branch update

Tucson Branch

Tucson Branch got in touch to share an update...

The Tucson Branch is alive and well despite being a small group of 8-10 dancers on Thursday evenings. We also started a Ladies 50+ daytime dance class last year that is very popular and provides an opportunity for some of our past performance dancers to rekindle their love of Scottish country dance.

In January 2023, we celebrated the New Year with a party for all of our dancers, current and past. We enjoyed an evening of food, visiting, and some easy dances. We are now planning our first ever afternoon "tea dance" in May to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the RSCDS and the 28th Anniversary of the Tucson Branch.

Both are amazing milestones!
