Inverness celebrate 75th anniversary

2024 saw Inverness and District Branch celebrate its 75th Anniversary with a dance in October and a Civic Reception in November.

William Williamson and his wife Linda joined us at the October Dance in the Barn Church where William presented us with our Anniversary Certificate and cut the celebration cake. Duties over we danced the night away to the superb music of Alasdair MacLeod and his Band.

In November Provost Glynis Sinclair welcomed us to The Town House for a Civic Reception.  Whilst there was no dancing this night, Gary Coull, newly elected Chair after his maiden speech circulated among members past and present for an evening of chat and reminiscence.

Inverness Branch feels really honoured to have had a visit from two RSCDS Chairs to celebrate our Anniversary Year.
