Melbourne Highland Games and Celtic Festival

Melbourne Highland Games and Celtic Festival 2

Anne Harvey from Melbourne and District Branch shares photos from the successful day at the Melbourne Highland Games and Celtic Festival, held in March 2023.

The Ringwood Caledonian Society set up a stall at the Melbourne Highland Games and Celtic Festival, held on the 26th March 2023, to promote and encourage people to take up Scottish country dancing.  We also performed in a couple of dance displays at the Games.  We encouraged some crowd participation on these days and it is wonderful to see young and old join in with us.

Rowan provided a great photo opportunity and was very popular with children and quite a few adults, even the adults in kilts!  It was a great way to have people stop at our stall so we could talk about Scottish country dancing with them.
