New format for White Rose Festival 2025

If you've never been to the annual RSCDS Leeds White Rose Festival, you're in for a treat!

Join us in July 2025 for a fun-filled afternoon, dancing to the lively tunes of Ewan Galloway and his band, under (hopefully) glorious blue skies in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside followed by an evening dance to round off our season.

Our new format, introduced last year, features a single massed programme for everyone (juniors and adults). It includes a mix of easier and more complex dances, allowing teams to choose what they want to perform. This format encouraged less experienced dancers to join for the first time, and they had a fantastic experience.

For those looking for a challenge, our demonstration and highland dances remain. We'll soon be uploading videos to encourage more dancers to participate – links to cribs and videos are on our festival website.

Want to come but can't raise a full team? No problem! Let us know, and we'll help find dancers to join you on the day. Visit our website for more details, including the afternoon programme: White Rose Festival 2025

It's a day packed with fun for everyone. Bring a picnic or enjoy the lunch and high tea from the catering team, save room for the cake served in the evening dance interval, hope for dry weather, and join us for an unforgettable experience!
