Centenary Whisky and Gin

The Autumn Gathering 2022 will see the launch of the RSCDS Centenary Whisky, Gin and Tasting Glass, a project that was first conceived in February 2020. The Gin will go on sale at the Autumn Gathering on Saturday 5th November whilst online reservations for the Whisky will also open at 12 noon (UK time) on that day. The names of the Whisky and Gin will be revealed at the Centenary Launch Presentation on 5th November and both have links to the Society or Scottish dancing.

Gin

The RSCDS Centenary Gin is light and citrus flavoured and is being distilled in Perthshire in small batches. The launch price is £30 per bottle.  After the Autumn Gathering, the Gin will continue to be available to purchase from both the Robertsons of Pitlochry physical and online shop as well as at future RSCDS events.

Whisky

The RSCDS Centenary Whisky is a single cask of 10 year old Blair Athol whisky with its own unique flavour. As there will be a limited number of bottles produced sales will be restricted to one bottle per current member of the RSCDS whilst stocks last.

The cask will be bottled in late January 2023 with bottles available from late February 2023. The target price for the whisky is £60 (dependent upon final numbers and bottling costs) and can be reserved for £25 from Robertsons of Pitlochry by using the link below which will only go live from 12 noon (UK time) on 5th November.
