RSCDS Central Iowa Branch update

RSCDS Central Iowa Branch

RSCDS Central Iowa Branch share an update from their recent ball

Our small group has been slowly coming back to life after several years of Covid.  We had our 32nd Annual Ball on April 29 this year, in person, with several great people who travelled from nearby states.  In 2020 and 2021 we had virtual balls on Zoom.  Last year we had a very small in person ball. We were still small this year but had around twenty four dancers (rather than our usual fifty or so). Classes are continuing on Fridays in Ames and on Mondays in Des Moines.  We have small numbers but always enough to dance.  Our local band, Widdershins, played for the ball this year!
