Selkirk class heads to Bavaria

Twinned with a town in Bavaria, the Selkirk children's class flew out to Plattling this July after being invited by their twin.

Eight children from the class with nine adults flew out from Edinburgh on Wednesday 17th July.  We have rehearsal images to share with you and will let you know how they got on in the next issue!

They will be providing some entertainment every day of their trip, starting with the Opening procession on Thursday evening within the town.  They will all be dressed in their tartan which will be quite a spectacular sight.  A piper and drummer will be accompanying them in the procession and an accordionist will be flying out with them.

The young dancers have been taking part in dress rehearsals in preparation for their exciting trip.
