Tea and chat in Croydon

Croydon tea and chat

On 14th March 2023 Croydon and District Branch held one of their Tea and Chat events. This is a chance for those who may no longer be able to dance to get together with members past and present over a cup of tea and a lot of cake and has proved very popular! This year the Branch celebrates its 70th anniversary as well as celebrating the Centenary of the RSCDS so we had a cream tea with homemade scones and a special birthday cake. Our current chairman Alison Raisin blew out the candles and of the four past chairmen present (Mary Courtney, Dorothy Pearson, George Ferrier and Tommy Dunsmore) as most 'senior' Tommy was asked to cut the cake!
